Dec 18, 2009. #2. Hello as far as I am aware, it does not have to be timed, but I am no expert, we had a diesel ulysse on a 2000 plate and had a new high pressure pump fitted this did not need timing, your injectors should be operated electronically by the ecu i think. best of luck with it. X.

Hi peeps, hope someone can help, my 1.9 jtd elx 2002 doblo has an intermittent problem, where when you try to start her the ecu runs through its checks and what i thought was the engine management light stays on, and all she will do is turn over and not fire.
To date I have tried the following ;,flushing and replacing the fuel,replaced the fuel filter,replaced the heater plugs,replaced the MAF and MAP sensors,replaced the fuel rail sensor,replaced the fuel pressure switch,replaced the Battery, I have noticed that during the turning over there is no exhaust smoke at all .I can get it to start with
